A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

 CHINA:

A country that has interested me for some time is China, due to the particularity of its language. In fact, two years ago I have been learning a little chinese through an app just for fun, because I like the pronunciation and the writing.

I have also seen some landscapes of China that have surprised me and that I would like to visit if I have the opportunity, such as:

- The Zhangjiajie National Park located in Hunan province, which is made up of giant quartzite-sandstone monoliths, some up to 200m tall. The pillars are surrounded by dense foliage due to the humid climate throughout the year. For me, the highlight of the park is the world's tallest external elevator with a height of 326 meters to ascend to the Yuanjiajie area and the world's longest and tallest glass pedestrian bridge that stretches from 430 meters to a height of 300 meters.

Also, these landscapes inspired James Cameron to create the Hallelujah mountains in the movie "Avatar". Due to this, it`s that one of the monoliths, previously called the "Column of the universe" or "Column of the southern sky", with 1080 meters high, was officially renamed on January 25, 2010 as "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain".

- Hekou Shuangtai Nature Reserve: In this place, during the autumn it`s possible to observe a phenomenon called the Pajin Red Beach, within the marshes of the Liao River Delta in Panjin.

The 3,500 hectares that occupy the surface covered with silt, after the summer, turn an intense red color because of an alga (chenopodiaceae) that grows on the surface of the water and remains on the banks and low areas. Since in autumn this algae dries up due to lack of nutrients, little by little it acquires that unique color that makes it called the Red Beach.

Well, these are two places that have caught my attention, but there are many more, especially because China is the 3rd most biodiverse country in the world, so I think it`s worth visiting. Also to better know it`s culture, history, architecture and gastronomy. It would surely be an unforgettable experience.

謝謝 😊
See you soon in the next post...
